How To Fix Blue Screen Error In Any windows Operating System

 

If your PC ever got stuck on blue screen as below, then probably you are facing the error called “Blue Screen Of Death” also known as “BSoD” or just “Blue Screen”.

                       


After this “Blue Screen Of Death” error, you will not be able to do anything and probably your PC will either reboot or shut down automatically.


                 

“Blue Screen Of Death” error is generally a hardware or driver related errors. This bug creates situation where computer goes into not responding mode. This error is the state where Microsoft Windows operating system itself fail to handle the errors. This is the reason, it restarts or shutdown PC to prevent further damage. This is the most irritating issue in any Windows
operating system version.
Best practiced tips to fix the Blue screen of Death:

# 1 – Restart Computer:

Sometimes, just restart of PC is enough to get rid of “Blue Screen Of Death” error.

# 2 – Remove all the programs from the Windows start up:

The start up mode has lots of programs and there could be a possibility of any program causing this issue. You might have seen many software programs popping up after Windows starts such as Skype, g talk
but these are good software’s and there could be bad programs that needs to be stopped.

                                             


How to stop programs from start up:
  • Press “Windows” button + “R” key
  • Run box will appear, type “msconfig” and hit enter.
  • “System Configuratio” dialog box will apear
  • Click on the “services” tab
  • Select the check box “Hide all Microsoft services”
  • Check all services, and press button Disable all service (Do not forget to select check box “Hide all Microsoft services” before this) 
  • Now go to “Statrup” tab
  • Disable all services.
System will prompt to restart, proceed for the restart to take affect the changes. This process also speed up the PC start up
time.

# 3 – Uninstall unused software programs:

If you can visit your control panel right now, and check how many installed software you actually do not use. And the list can surprise you that you even do not know some of the software and how they come to your machine.


                                                  



How to Uninstall unused software programs:
Go to start, Control panel–> Programs
Look for the unused programs, uninstall them and restart the PC.

# 4 – Try Re-setting your driver’s and hardware’s:

Check if all your hardware components and drivers are working properly.








How to check this:
  • Right click on My Computer, click on “manage”.
  • Select “Device manager”
  • You can review here, about any hardware or driver issue. yellow or red notification symbol can be seen here with detailed information. Troubleshooting this steps could be difficult for few but this will at least take you to the root cause.

# 5 – Restore Your operating system to the previous stage:

System restore is the process where Windows windows restore your operating system to older good time where system was noted
to be working in good condition.

   



How to system restore:
  • Click on START menu –> All Programs–>Accessories
  • Click on System Tools–>click on System Restore–>Click on “Restore my computer to an earlier time” and click next. 
  • You can choose any highlighted date and time from the calendar from before your problem started and click next.
  • This process may take 10-20 minutes, depends on your PC configuration. Sometimes it completes in few minutes.
